कर्ण पीड़ासन एक योग है जोकि तीन शब्दों से मिलकर बना है कर्ण + पीड़ + आसन = कर्ण पीडासन जिसमें कर्ण = कान , पीड़ = दबाना और आसन = मुद्रा
